Tamil Nadu Govt extends lockdown for another week
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has extended lockdown in the state for another week till July 12 with additional relaxations.
In a major relief, the government has revoked the e-pass or the e-registration for people travelling between districts in the state.
The new guidelines:
- Dine-in allowed in hotels, restaurants with 50% occupancy till 8pm.
- Tea shops allowed with 50% occupancy.
- IT companies can function with a 50% workforce.
- Permitted shops allowed till 8 pm.
- Hotels, lodges, guest houses can be opened with 50% occupancy.
- Museums and ASI sites will be open till 5pm.
- All places of worship can be opened by following SOPs.
- Gyms and Yoga studios can function with 50% occupancy.
- Liquor shops will be kept open from 10am-8 pm.
- Intra-district and inter-district public transport will be allowed with 50% seating capacity.
- Amusement parks can function without water games.
- E-registration stands cancelled.
- 50 guests allowed at weddings, 20 at the funeral.
