India's latest advisory in Ukraine: "Leave Kyiv urgently today"
Around 400 students housed near Embassy since 24 Febuary successfully left Kyiv by train through Mission's efforts.
Kyiv: As Russian forces make headway in Ukraine, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine has issued an advisory to Indians, including students, to leave Kyiv urgently today.
"All Indian nationals including students are advised to leave Kyiv urgently today. Preferably by available trains or through any other means available," the Indian Embassy in Ukraine tweeted.

The latest advisory comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level meeting to review the ongoing efforts under Operation Ganga to bring back Indians stranded in Ukraine. The Prime Minister said that the entire government machinery is working round the clock to ensure that all Indian nationals there are safe and secure.

Around 400 students housed near Embassy since 24 Febuary successfully left Kyiv by train through Mission's efforts. Ensured movement of more than 1000 Indian students from Kyiv towards Western Ukraine, today. Advised the remaining few students in Kyiv to leave once curfew is lifted, said MEA India.
Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has left for Romania and Moldova, Kiren Rijiju is in Slovakia, Hardeep Singh Puri is in Hungary and Gen (Retd) VK Singh is in Poland to manage the evacuation of Indians stuck in Ukraine.
