Mumbai: Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar's nephew, Adinath Mangeshkar collected her ashes from Shivaji Park in Mumbai, where she was cremated with full state honours on Sunday.
Adinath is the son of Lata’s youngest sibling and only brother, Hridaynath Mangeshkar. Hridaynath is a brother to four sisters, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Meena Khadikar and Usha Mangeshkar, and youngest among them.
Today, both the Houses of Parliament paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar. Rajya Sabha Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu said that the passing away of Lata Mangeshkar has created a void in the music world.
