Modi greets Advani on his birthday
Under the leadership of Advani, BJP expanded its organizational base, his Rath Yatra helped the party to expand its base across India in late 80's.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Ministers greeted birthday wishes to BJP patriarch L.K. Advani, former Prime Minister turned 94 today.
Prime Minister drove to the veteran BJP leader’s residence to personally greet him, Prime Minister praised party veteran leader that, L.k. Advani is scholarly pursuits and rich intellect. Prime Minister also credited senior BJP leader for his effort to empower the people and enhance rich culture.
Last year Prime Minister has described L.K. Advani as a living inspiration to bjp workers and countrymen. Prime Minister has seen walking with BJP veteran leader in the garden.
Defence minister Rajnath Singh, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu and BJP President J.P. Nadda greeted Advani L.K. Advani was born November 1927 in Karachi in undivided India. After patrician his family moved to India.
He is credited for the BJP's rise as a major national political party as he tied its fortunes with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement in the late 80s.
