PM Modi chairs all-party meeting attended by 40 leaders
New Delhi: Ahead of the commencement of the Monsoon Session of the Parliament, more than 40 leaders from 33 parties on Sunday attended the all-party meeting and suggested which subjects should be discussed.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said, "Addressing the meet, PM Modi said that all representatives' suggestions, including those from the Opposition are very valuable".

"PM Modi said that healthy and fruitful debates should take place in the Parliament at the all-party meeting. He said that Government is ready to hold discussions on any subject if raised as per parliamentary rules and procedures, said Pralhad Joshi.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Commerce and Industries Minister Piyush Goyal, Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, TMC MP Derek O'Brien, DMK's Tiruchi Siva attended the all-party meeting.
The Monsoon session of Parliament is all set to commence on July 19. The session is likely to conclude on August 13. Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have already issued official orders stating commencing of the Monsoon session. The Sixth Session of the 17th Lok Sabha is likely to have around 20 sittings.
Rise in petrol and diesel prices, Covid-19 pandemic, and vaccine deficiency issues are likely to heat-up the debates.
