Karnataka: BSY asks Chief Secretary to clear pending files ?
Bengaluru: After returning from Delhi, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has reportedly directed Chief Secretary P. Ravi Kumar to clear pending files.
Yediyurappa had met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the party chief JP Nadda in Delhi. Also, the chief minister had met and greeted newly inducted ministers from Karnataka.
According to sources, Yediyurappa has been assured a respectable exit as the state chief minister. Also, the top leaders told him to focus on the organisation of the party.

Yediyurappa's government will complete two years on July 26 and he has called for a Legislative Party Meeting on the same day. He is expected to announce his resignation on the same day.
Meanwhile, the part high-command faces the daunting task of selecting a new chief minister for the only BJP-ruled state in South India. Many names are doing rounds for the coveted post.
