Gorakhpur:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a searing remark against Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) said the if 'Red caps' are back to power, Uttar Pradesh would imminent challenges as 'terrorists would be out of jails'. 

After inaugurating several development projects, PM Modi said, "The 'red caps' want to form government to show leniency towards terrorists, to bring them out of jails. So always remember that the 'red caps' are red alert for UP - they are bells to danger".

"Today entire UP knows that the 'red caps' cared about 'red beacons' alone. They had nothing to do with your pain and issues. The 'red caps' want power - for scams and for filling their coffers, for illegal encroachments, for providing freedom to mafia".

"These people can never understand that even during Corona crisis, the double engine government  continued with development, it didn't let the work stop", said PM Modi.

PM Narendra Modi addressed the gathering at the event in Gorakhpur where he inaugurated several development projects today. PM Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 9,600 crore during his Gorakhpur visit. The projects include a fertilizer plant, AIIMS Gorakhpur, and the ICMR- Regional Medical Research Centre.

CM Yogi Adityanath was also present with him at the occasion.
