Moscow: The war declared by Russia against Ukraine has upset not only many human rights activists across the globe, but has also disappointed many top international brands who have multi-million dollar business in Russia.

Now, numerous international bands are suspending their operations from Russia as a mark of their anguish and expressing solidarity with Ukraine.

It may be noted that Russia is one of the sought after nations in the world of various international brands since they get the elite customer to buy their expensive products.

The brands include McDonald’s Apple, Disney, Ikea, Exxon, Shell etc. have now decided to pull out their business from Russia.

According to the reports, the shipment of cars has been stopped. Even the Beer which is heavily consumed by the people of Russia is not been sold like in the past after war was declared. McDonald’s has closed down its operation and oil supply companies to have cut their supply to Russia.

These companies are fast closing down their business which is in a way has come as a rude shock for Russia.

The experts are saying that the reason for these companies shutting their operations from Russia is because they do not want to be caught on the wrong side of U.S. and Western sanctions.

They said that these multinational companies are being aware that they may be inviting potential risks to their reputations by continuing their business in Russia.
Some companies have cited their own corporate responsibility standards for pulling back.

Besides mentioning their business interest in shutting their business, they are also expressing concern about the plight of Ukrainians as the war takes a mounting toll on civilians.
According to reports, over 2 million people have already left Ukraine after the war was declared.
