Sunrisers win their first IPL match comfortably against Chennai Super Kings

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won their first Indian Premier League match on Saturday, defeating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by eight wickets at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
Abhishek Sharma's 75 (50) top-order performance, superbly supported by skipper Kane Williamson and Rahul Tripathi, helped SRH chase down the target of 155 with more than two overs to spare.
SRH openers Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma started solidly with the bat as they chased a goal of 155. SRH only scored 37 runs in the first six overs, but the openers were unbeaten.
SRH won the toss and decided to bowl first, and skipper Kane Williamson’s decision was justified by his bowlers as they restricted the CSK for just 154 runs.
In the pursuit of achiving the winning runs, both openers, Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma, stitched a partnership of 89 runs for the opening wicket, and Williamson was the first man to go. He scored 32 runs in the pursuit of achiving the winning runs. SRH lost one more wicket in the form of Rahul Tripathi. He departed for 39.

CSK batting first lost their wickets early. They lost their first wicket for just 25 runs. Ruturaj Gaikwad's poor batting form continued in this match, as he was dismissed for 16 runs.Moeen Ali was the top performer; he scored 48 runs. Ambati Rayudu scored 27, and skipper Jadeja scored 23 runs.
For SRH, T Natarajan and Washington Sundar picked up two wickets each, while Marco Jansen, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, and Aden Markram picked up a wicket each.
