Twitter restores Rahul Gandhi's handle week after suspension
New Delhi: Following severe criticisms from the public and Congress party, Twitter has restored Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's account, it was suspended a week before.
After Rahul Gandhi tweeted pictures of the family of a nine-year-old victim of alleged rape and murder in Northwest Delhi, Twitter has suspended his Twitter handled, citing violation of the rules.
Congress has alleged that suspending the Twitter of Congress leaders was nothing but biased. Congress leaders have taken examples of many ‘objectionable’ tweets of BJP leaders done before.
Twitter accounts of the party leaders who shared the tweets of Rahul Gandhi with pictures of deceased family members have also been restored.
