UK PM Johnson offers sanctuary to Zelenskyy and his family in UK

Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, has claimed that he has offered Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his family sanctuary in the United Kingdom in the midst of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine. However, Zelenskyy has rejected the same.

This was revealed to the media by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. He stated that he and Zelenskyy had regular conversations and that the possibility of Zelenskyy and his family seeking refuge  in the UK had been explored, but "Volodymyr has always stated unequivocally that his duty is to the Ukrainian people; he intends to stay and care for them." I must say that I admire him. "

Russia launched an invasion of Ukraine, which it claims was a special military operation in Ukraine in the early hours of February 24, after the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR and LPR) requested assistance in defending themselves against Kyiv forces.

Russia claimed its only goal of its "special operation" was to demilitarise and "denazify" Ukraine, and that only military infrastructure was being targeted; civilians were not at risk as they were not targeting civilians. Moscow has frequently stated that it has no intention of occupying Ukraine.

The purpose, according to Russian President Putin, is to protect the people of Donbas, who "have been exposed to brutality and genocide by the Kyiv administration for eight years."

In reaction to Russia's operation, Western countries have launched a comprehensive sanctions campaign against Russia, including airspace bans and restrictive measures aimed at a variety of Russian individuals and businesses, as well as press and financial firms.

According to Oleg Nikolenko, a spokesman for Ukraine's Foreign Ministry, the UN has disproved Russian fakes regarding biological weapons facilities in Ukraine, and all Russia's attempts to establish bogus justifications for war with Ukraine are going to fail.

"Russian forgeries concerning biological weapons laboratories in Ukraine have been refuted by the UN." All attempts by Moscow to fabricate justifications for its brutal conflict or war with Ukraine are going to fail, stated Nikolenko on Twitter on Saturday.
