Weekend curfew revoked in Delhi, markets to be opened without odd-even rule

New Delhi: Anil Baijal, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi,  has revoked weekend curfew, allowed to open markets without odd-even rule and government offices upto Grade 1 level will be working with 100 per centstrength . 

The Lieutenant Governor revoked weekend curfew after chairing the 32nd meeting of DDMA to review the COVID-19 situation in Delhi. In a series of tweets, Lieutenant Governor announced new guidelines for the NCT of Delhi. 

Restaurants, bars and  cinema halls to operate upto 50  per cent capacity.  Marriage-related gatherings to be held with 50 per cent capacity of venue subject to a maximum of 200 persons.

He advised the Health Department to enhance vaccination coverage with a special focus on vulnerable sections and also to undertake necessary epidemiological analysis of hospitalized patients. Also, emphasized on all agencies to ensure strict enforcement of COVID appropriate behaviour and to continue to be vigilant without lowering the guard.
