5 dead, 6 injured in boiler blast in Muzaffarpur
Muzaffarpur: At least six people have died and six injured in a boiler blast in a noodle factory in Muzaffarpur on Sunday. The police chief of the district has confirmed the incident.
District Magistrate Pranav Kumar said further investigation is underway. The explosion at the noodles factory happened around 10 am.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced ex-gratia amount of Rs 4 lakhs each to the families of the deceased in the boiler blast incident at a private factory in Muzaffarpur district.
The Prime Minister has also approved an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims of a boiler explosion in a factory in Muzaffarpur, Bihar.
The Prime Minister's office tweeted; "The Prime Minister has approved an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh each from PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to the accident at a factory in Muzaffarpur. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000 each."
