Bengaluru Traffic ASI suspended for assaulting differently-abled woman
The ASI alleged that the woman hurled a stone at him while he was seated in a towing van.
Bengaluru: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) traffic was suspended for assaulting a differently-abled woman following an argument in Bengaluru.
The video of the ASI Narayan Gowda, who is with the Halasuru Gate Police Station, arguing with the differently-abled woman and the following altercation was doing rounds on social media platforms.

The ASI alleged that the woman hurled a stone at him while he was seated in a towing van. The enraged officer got down from the vehicle and abused the woman. Also, he lodged a complaint against the woman at at SJ Park station.
Taking note of the incident Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dr. BR Ravikanthe Gowda has suspended the ASI and initiated a departmental probe against the officer.
