BJP MP Tejasvi Surya wants reconversion of non-Hindus to Hindu faith
Tejasvi Surya, who is also BJP Yuva Morcha National President, was speaking on 'Hindu Revival' at Sri Krishna Math in Udupi on Saturday.
Udupi: BJP MP from Bengaluru South Tejasvi Surya has sparked another controversy with a clarion call for the reconversion of all the people, who have left their mother religion for social, political or economic reasons, back to the Hindu faith.
Tejasvi Surya, who is also BJP Yuva Morcha National President, was speaking on 'Hindu Revival' at Sri Krishna Math in Udupi on Saturday.
Tejasvi Surya said, "Only option left for Hindus is to reconvert all those people who've gone out of the Hindu fold. Those who've left their mother religion must be brought back. My request is that every temple, mutt should have yearly targets for this".
He once again called for ‘ghar wapsi’ of Muslims and Christians in India days after the Karnataka government passed the contentious anti-conversion Bill at the Winter Session held at Suvarna Soudha in Belagavi.
"After 2014, Bharat is finally decolonizing itself after 70+ years of colonial hangover. Following centuries of being ruled by foreign invaders, Bharat is re-emerging as 'Vishwaguru'."
