CSK wants to retain Dhoni for 2022 IPL
CSK don't want to lose MS in 2022 IPL, it has already expressed its willingness to retain him as captain for 2022 IPL game. However, but it is depend on BCCI new rules for next year IPL.
Chennai: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) wants to retain Captain M.S.Dhoni once it get clarity on next year mega auction proceedings on 2022 Indian Premier League (IPL).
MS has led the team with his impressive captaincy and lift the IPL title for forth time. In 2022 IPL, mega auction will be conducted, before that BCCI has to frame the guidelines for the same. However, CSK has stated that Dhoni will be first player to be retained during mega auction. Meanwhile, Mr. Dhoni said that it is upto BCCI to frame the rules for next auction.
CSK sources said that team management don’t want to lose cool captain in 2022 IPL. It was because of his captaincy, team has lifted the trophy for forth time. Sources said that it will not do anything without its captain Dhoni. He will first player to be retained in the auction.
"Which team or franchise would not want to retain a man like Dhoni. Two new teams will be added, so it would be great to see the competition. There are many things which we will have to see but as of now I can only say that we will go for Dhoni. The rest we will see and go by rules set by the BCCI," India Today reported quoting its sources.
After winning in IPL finals, Mr. Dhoni said that it depends on the BCCI, for next 2022 IPL two new team will get entry.
