Farm laws repealed: Farmer union to continue with pre-decided plans, to write open letter to PM Modi

New Delhi: Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) meeting, which was going on at Singhu border, concluded. The farmer leaders were to discuss issues of MSP, compensation for the farmers who lost their lives, cases registered against farmers, and their next plan of action.

"We discussed the repeal of farm laws. After this, some decisions were taken.SKM's predecided programs will continue as it is - Kisan panchayat in Lucknow on 22nd, gatherings at all borders on 26th and march to Parliament on 29th", he said.
The Union wants to write an open letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding clarity of pending issues.
"We'll write open letter to PM. Pending demands will be mentioned in it - MSP Committee, its rights, its time frame, its duties; Electricity Bill 2020, withdrawal of cases. We'll also write to him to sack the Minister (Ajay Mishra Teni) over Lakhmipur Kheri".
The union to hold another meeting on 27th November on further developments.
