'Send your son or daughter to the border', asks Gautam Gambhir to Sidhu
Delhi BJP MP Gautam Gambhir slammed Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu for his effusive praise for Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in Kartarpur on the occasion of Gurunanak Jayanti.
New Delhi: Delhi BJP MP Gautam Gambhir slammed Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu for his effusive praise for Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan in Kartarpur on the occasion of Gurunanak Jayanti.
Sidhu after offering prayers at Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara in Pakistan said, "Imran Khan is my elder brother. I am greatly honoured. He (Imran Khan) gave us a lot of love."
Gautam Gambhir, in scathing remarks against Sidhu, asked him to send his children to the border before making such remarks. "Send ur son or daughter to the border & then call a terrorist state head ur big brother! #Disgusting #Spineless (sic)," he tweeted.

Earlier, the Imran Khan government of Pakistan praised Mr Sidhu for his role in the opening of the corridor to Sikh pilgrimage site Kartarpur Sahib.
Sidhu's name was not included in the Punjab delegation led by Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. The delegation comprised state cabinet ministers that visited Kartarpur Sahib on Thursday, according to reports.
