Kejriwal assures free health care in Punjab
Arvind Kejriwal assures that if AAP come to power in the next Assembly elections in Punjab, all government hospitals in the state will be made air-conditioned and free health facilities to be provided to the people
Chandigarh: Aam Aadmi Party National convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has promised free health care to Punjab people if AAP comes to power in the state.
Addressing the press conference, Mr. Kejriwal assured that Punjab people will get free health care facilities in upgraded government hospitals on the lines of Delhi.
Explaining Delhi's model of health care, Mr. Kejriwal remarked that AAP has a plan to make Punjab a progressive state in health care, AAP only can bring changes in the state, he added.
Criticising ruling Congress and its ongoing ‘mess’ in the state, Delhi Chief Minister said that Congress has ruined the state in five years. The health care system has completely collapsed in the state, he said.

Explaining the state of the health system in the state, AAP convener said, there is no doctors, supporting health staff and medicines available in government hospitals. Before AAP coming to power, Delhi has the same affair. But now, the health system in Delhi improved, all government hospitals are equipped with centralized Air Conditioned system and free health care has been provided to the patients, Mr. Kejriwal explained and assured that the same health care system will be offered to Punjab people.
Mohalla clinics are popular in Delhi, that model will be developed in Punjab and will provide health cards to all citizens, he added.
