Kejriwal names Sonu Sood as brand ambassador for 'Desh ke Mentors' program
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appointed actor and philanthropist Sonu Sood as brand ambassador for the 'Desh ke Mentors' program.
Arvind Kejriwal said, "No one can stop India from becoming a global leader if people join the education revolution". He said his government had worked very hard to transform Delhi's government schools and wants to make education a people's revolution.

Kejriwal said the pilot project has been running for over a year now, and only after the pilot project's success, the government is launching the programme pan-India.
Sonu Sood said "Delhi's Education Model has set a new benchmark in the country. Standard of education decides the growth of the country. Needless to say, the transformation [in education] in Delhi, All thanks to CM Arvind Kejriwal".
Under the Desh Ke Mentors programme, over 3 lakh young professionals will guide and 10 lakh Delhi Government School students will be trained for a bright future. The programme will be officially launched in mid-September.
