Missing Army pilot's body recovered after 2 months search ops
A helicopter pilot's body has been recovered on Monday from Ranjit Sagar Dam on the Ravi River on the border of two states of India, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab after two months' persistent efforts by the Indian Army.

the PRO Defence, the body of the late Captain Jayant Joshi has been recovered from the lake bed using hi-tech equipment. The Army and Navy worked day and night for 75 days to recover the body of the Captain, the second pilot of the helicopter which crashed in Ranjit Sagar Dam on August 3.
Western Command - Indian Army stated in a tweet, "Underwater operations of more than 600 hours and 300 dives employing best of the equipment to search the Ranjit Sagar reservoir ended today providing solace to the bereaved family. The operation exemplifies the military ethos of never leaving any comrade behind".
On August 3, Rudra helicopter crashed into Ranjit Sagar Lake in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district. Two Indian Army pilots — a lieutenant colonel and a captain went missing thereafter. Earlier on August 15, the rescue teams had recovered the mortal remains of Lt Col Abheet Singh Baath, the pilot of the helicopter.
