Pornography case: Bombay HC dismisses Gehana Vasisth's anticipatory bail plea

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday dismissed the anticipatory bail plea of ​​TV actress Gehana Vasisth in the pornography case, in which businessman Raj Kundra is one of the accused.

Gehana Vasisth's lawyer said they would move to Supreme Court for the bail.

Vasisth was arrested by the Property Cell of Crime Branch Mumbai for her alleged role in the shooting, uploading porn videos on a website.

Last month, a Mumbai sessions court had rejected the anticipatory bail plea of actress Gehana Vasisth in a pornography case. Fearing arrest, the actress had filed the anticipatory bail application before additional sessions of judge Sonali Agarwal.

Gehana worked as a model for many international brands. She did about 70 advertisements. She won the Miss Asia Bikini contest of 2012.

Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, was arrested by the crime branch on July 19 in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through apps.
