Puneeth and Prabhudeva dance for Lucky Man
Kannada star Puneeth Rajkumar, who is known as the best dancer in Sandalwood, is shaking legs alongside one of the best-known dancers in the Indian cinema world Prabhudeva. The two will be seen in the song for the film 'Lucky Man' directed by Prabhudeva's younger brother Nagendra Prasad.
The shooting for the song took place over the last few days in Bengaluru. It was choreographed by Jani Master. Nagendra Prasad who has acted in a couple of Kannada films earlier returns as a director this time. He had assisted Prabhudeva in a couple of films directed by the former. Lucky Man is his directorial debut. The film stars Krishna, Sangeeta Sringeri and Roshni Prakash.
Even if in a guest role, this is a comeback for Prabhudeva in Kannada films. He had made his Kannada debut with H2O alongside Upendra and had made a couple of unsuccessful attempts to create a base here. Though Prabhudeva and Nagendra Prasad's father the popular choreographer Mooguru Sundaram is from Mysore, the sons have not been able to establish themselves in the Kannada film industry.
Lucky Man is the remake of the Tamil film Oh My Kaduvule starring Ashok Selvan. Vijay Sethupati had played the special cameo appearance in that film. The same will be reprised by Puneeth Rajkumar in Lucky Man. Prabhudeva will be seen only in the special song.
After shooting the song, Prabhudeva commented about Puneeth saying, "It’s a great pleasure having to dance with Puneeth Rajkumar. You are such a sweet person and I am extremely happy to see you."
Jani Master shared, "Excited to choreograph Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar Sir and multifaceted Prabhudeva Sir for a crazy dance number. Hope you all like it. Also, I feel blessed to do it in the presence of legendary Sundaram master in the debut direction of his son Nagendra Prasad Garu."
