Puneeth's daughter Drithi pays last respect to father
Bengaluru: Sandalwood power star Puneeth Rajkumar's daughter Drethi has arrived in Bengaluru from US to pay last respect to her father.
Drethi arrived to Delhi at 1.30 pm from the US on an Air India flight, from Delhi, a special flight took her to Bengaluru. After she landed in Bengaluru airport at 5 pm. Proper security arrangements were made for her smooth escort from Airport to her residence in Sadashivanagara. Signal free traffic has been arranged by the Bengaluru police to bring her to Kanteerava Stadium where the mortal remains of her father were kept for public homage.
The earlier state government has arranged the last rites of Puneeth Rajkumar today evening itself, but after consulting with family members of Puneeth, Chief Minister Bommai took a decision to conduct the last rites on Sunday afternoon.
But considering the large number of the crowd waiting outside the stadium to pay last respect to their loved actor, the state has decided to postpone the last rites of Puneeth tomorrow. Drethi has broken down after paying tribute to her father. Her mother Ashwini and Uncle, Shivaraj Kumar consoled her.
