Bengaluru: The stylish star, Allu Arjun, is celebrating his 40th birthday today. The Tollywood actor before Pushpa, the Rise, had a massive fan following in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and, to his surprise, Kerala has a huge following for the star and people used to call him Mallu Arjun fondly.

After the success of Pushpa, the star's fan following increased in Hindi speaking states as well. The blockbuster hit Pushpa set new benchmarks and broke the barriers of language after Baahubali.

Such was the craze of Pushpa that everyone, including celebrities, and cricket stars, imitated the dance steps of Srivalli and other songs and popular dialogues of the film.

Allu Arjun is affectionately known as "Bunny" by his admirers. On this special day, social media is flooded with birthday greetings from his devoted followers. Allu Arjun will reportedly spend his birthday with friends and family members in Europe. On the professional front, he has yet to resume work on director Sukumar's Pushpa: The Rule.

This film has earned a 29.4 rating, the highest for a Telugu film ever.
