New Delhi: Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) foundation day event on Wednesday Prime Minister Narendra Modi said BJP is the only party that is making the country aware of dynastic politics and warning the country about it.

PM Modi said, "Two kinds of politics are going on now - one of love for family, the other of love for the nation. There are some political parties in different states that work only for the interests of their respective families. They might be in different states but they're linked through dynasty". 

"This has harmed the country a lot in past decades. These parties didn't let the youth of the country go ahead and always betrayed them. Today, we should be proud that BJP is the only party that is making the country aware of this challenge, warning the country about it".

“From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kutch to Kohima, BJP is continuously strengthening the resolve of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat," PM Modi said.

He said that this year’s foundation day is important for three reasons: “First, we are celebrating 75 years of independence, this is a major occasion for inspiration. Second, rapidly changing global situation; new opportunities are coming up for India continuously," PM Modi said.

PM Modi further said, thirdly, BJP’s double engine government has come to power once again in four states. 

“From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Kutch to Kohima, BJP is continuously strengthening the resolve of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat," PM Modi said.

Meanwhile, BJP national president JP Nadda took part in Delhi BJP's Shobha Yatra on the occasion of the party's 42nd foundation day.
