IPL Auction 2022: Yash Dhull, Lalit Yadav, Ripal Patel sold in uncapped all-rounders category

Earlier, before lunch, Virat Singh, Himmat Singh , Sachin Baby, Young Harnoor Singh , Himanshu Rana ,  were unsold in  the uncapped batsmen category. 

IPL Auction 2022: Yash Dhull, Lalit Yadav, Ripal Patel sold in uncapped all-rounders category

Bengaluru: Yash Dhull, skipper of India's U19 World Cup in 2022, is sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs 50 Lakh on Sunday. Lalit Yadav is the first player under the uncapped all-rounders category. He is sold to Delhi Capitals for Rs 65 Lakh. 

As Yash Dhull was up for grab, Delhi Capitals opened the bidding for him. Punjab Kings joined the race soon. Finally, Delhi Capitals signed Yash Dhull for INR 50 Lakhs.  Yash Dhull struck a magnificent century in the semifinals against Australia in the U19 World Cup. Even overcame a bout with Covid-19 during the tournament.

N Tilak Varma was sold to Mumbai Indians for Rs 1.70 Crore. Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad were bidding for the uncapped all-rounder. Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings also joined the race to grab  Tilak Varma. And Mumbai got him for Rs 1.70 Crore. Varma  made his Twenty20 debut for Hyderabad in the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy on 28 February 2019. He made his List A debut on 28 September 2019, for Hyderabad in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
In December 2019, he was named to India's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

By 2.30 PM A total of 96 players have been sold so far. With the 33 retentions and drafts put in place, we have 129 spots filled in across 10 teams. It's to be noted that a minimum of 51 players are to be sold today for the teams to achieve their minimum squad limit of 18 players.
